Insertion of Contact Lenses
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Dry your hands with a lint-free towel.
Remove a lens from its case and inspect it for any damage or debris.
Place the lens on the tip of your index finger.
Use your other hand to gently pull down on your lower eyelid to form a pocket.
Look up or forward and place the lens on the white part of your eye.
Release your eyelid and gently move your eye around to distribute the lens evenly.
Removing Contact Lenses:
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Dry your hands with a lint-free towel.
Look up or to the side.
Use the index finger of your dominant hand to gently pinch the lens and remove it from your eye.
Note: Always follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of your contact lenses & optometrist and any cleaning or disinfecting solution you use. If you have any difficulty inserting or removing your lenses, or if you experience any discomfort, consult your eye care professional immediately.
